Staff Biographies

Melissa D. Hirsch

Ms. Hirsch is a graduate, Magna Cum Laude, from Binghamton University, where she graduated in 1998 as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Golden Key Honor Society and Phi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. She is a 2001 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, where she was the recipient of the James N. Maclean/Edwin J. Mulhearn Nassau Lawyers Association Scholarship.

Ms. Hirsch is admitted to practice in the New York and New Jersey courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She is a member of the New York State and American Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Ms. Hirsch heads the firm’s banking law practice, concentrating on mortgage loan closings, consolidation, modification and extension transactions, cooperative loan financing and mortgage loan assignments. Ms. Hirsch also spends considerable time on private commercial and residential real estate transactions for the firm’s private clientele.
